A Laptop Ninja is a cousin of the more common Web Ronin. As a solitary figure who's skills with computer technology and design, the Laptop Ninja survives by performing contract work from cafes, public parks, and sometimes rooftops. The Laptop Ninja's sword is his 802.11 connection, his iPod his throwing stars, and his Bluetooth cellphone his Nunchucks. All of which are usually carried in a discreet messenger bag.

A New Way to Read (that doesn't suck)
Mobile Magazine has this article that outlines a new technique for delivering text content on small screens (mobile phones). It's called "rapid serial visual presentation" (RSVP for short) and in a nutshell it flashesh one word at a time, pausing for commas and periods accordingly. Sounds weird, but it's suprisingly easy to get the hang of. Here's a demo to give it a shot yourself.
