Laptop Ninja
A blog FOR Laptop Ninjas, not about them.
A Laptop Ninja is a cousin of the more common Web Ronin. As a solitary figure who's skills with computer technology and design, the Laptop Ninja survives by performing contract work from cafes, public parks, and sometimes rooftops. The Laptop Ninja's sword is his 802.11 connection, his iPod his throwing stars, and his Bluetooth cellphone his Nunchucks. All of which are usually carried in a discreet messenger bag.

MP3 player as commodity
Not only is this new MP3 player from Japan the first I've seen with the obvious feature of removeable SD Card memory (not that I've been looking that hard), it's also cheap.
How cheap? Well first think about what you'd spend on a shuffle-like MP3 player would also allow you to swap out memory cards whenever you felt like changing libraries? The player accepts cards up to 1gig which should let you have more than 200 songs per disc.
How much? How does about $8.50USD sound? At that price (and assuming they make it to this side of the Pacific) I can see these being a big hit as promotional items, branded perhaps.
